Not sure what to say?

I went to Valencia and took Spanish from Senor Valadez for three years. It was always the most fun and funniest class of the day. I remember one day during a test I hid a "librarian tormenter" in his class that I had built in electronics class. It emitted a high pitched noise that was impossible to locate. He was looking all over for it, and kept saying that it was a "cucuy". I am proud to say though that I never got an EWFNEC while in his class, which was "Extra Work for No Extra...

To
the Family of Senor Valadez,
I had Mr. Valadez as my Spanish teacher while attending VHS in 1976. I
have not only remembered the songs he made us sing (in spanish) - the
Mexican National Anthem and Dale, Dale, Dale (don't recall the real
title), but I remember the rules of the spanish language.

My sympathy to the Valadez family during this time. I'm glad that the new intermediate school in Placentia will bear his name.
Sincerley,

Ines, Lucy, and Family

Your Dad, Our Senor Valadez, and other outstanding teachers such as Jaime Escalante are all in a class of their own. They set a standard, stood up to criticism, did not negotiate, and best of all led many students to see success and accomplishment.

Some students did not realize the growth and understanding they learned while meeting the goals of Senor Valadez until years later.

Some yearned many years later to be able to repeat those wonderful...

Ines, Lucy and family:

I am so sorry to hear about your father. He taught me more than just studies at Valencia. He taught me both in Spanish class and as a basketball coach. Not just school or sports, but about life. He was the best.

He sent my Mother (Wanda) a letter about 2-3 weeks ago and she sent it on to me. He was telling her of him being born in Jerome, Arizona and how the house he was born in on the side of the hill, was falling apart. He told her then that it would...

I had Mr. Valadez for P.E. at least one year. My prayers are with the family. Gerald, Class of 1959

Mi más sentido pésme, y le acompaño a toda la familia en su pena.
Mr. Valadez was a life long inspiration to me from the early days at La Jolla Jr. High School where he was my Spanish teacher and coach up to the very last moments when I talked and visited with him as one of my greatest and most respected friends. It truely has been an honor and a blessing to have known such a wonderful person.

I had the priveledge of being a student of Senor Valadez during 1980-1984 and I appreciated the effort he put into teaching. He was a true asset to the teaching world!!
God Bless him and his family.

My prayers are with you and your family. Not only was Mr Valadez a teacher of mind when I attended Valencia He was a long time freind of my parents. My parents were Magdaleno [COWBOY] and Juanita Flores.
