We were neighbors and friends of Guenter (Glen) for more than ten years and found him and Joanie to be delightful people. I regret that I had not seen them in many years. Our best wishes to the family

I remember Glen from 1966 when I moved to Flint, Michigan. He lived in my apartment building with his wife Joanie and his new baby. He was a highly skilled German watchmaker who specialized in Rolex. A US Astronaut was a loyal customer who sent his Rolex to him regularly for his detailed overhaul. Glenn was a very proud German watchmaker who escaped WW2 Germany and started a new life in the USA. I was a loyal friend and customer to Gunther. We talked often about watches and his life. He signed a watch that I bought off of him and the serial number is #0001. I will cherish this watch forever and will pass it on to my family after I am gone. Its an honor to own it with his name on it.

I was so thankful to find Guenter 5 years ago when I tried to find someone who could clean and fix antique picket watches! Over the years our family has taken 4 of them to him, as well as a tiny mantle watch (pocket watch size) and a tiny pendant watch, all belonging to our great grand-parents and grandparents. Guenter was the consummate gentlemen, husband, father and watch repairman. He tried hard to make each customer feel better when they left his store than before they entered. He deliberately always promoted me one rank and called me General. He just fixed my watch one month ago. I would much rather have a broken watch and have him alive. There are some people you meet that touch you your life and heart and Guenter Behliz was one of them . Guenter Loved my Cherry pie .... He was in tears when he seen my pie I made him & he said he never seen one like mine and he was telling me his Dad was a baker. Guenter said he enjoyed a slice of my pie every morning with his coffee ... He was one sweet man that will be dearly missed he was my favorite Jeweler
