Guy,
I didn't know until today that you were gone.You meant so much to Cody (and to me). Loved hearing the two of you recall your antics at Auburn. You were one of the good guys. I'll miss you.

I remember Guy from the time in the early 1950s when he lived on Greenwood Street in Homewood with his mom and dad. (I grew up about 3 doors away on Ascott Road). His mother was my favorite baby-sitter ever and was one of the people who taught me to love reading. As a young kid, I was jealous of Guy's car (even though I was far from being old enough to drive ;-) - he was the only "son" in our neighborhood who had his own car! ALL OF THE MAXWELLS (and the DeGraffenrieds) were wonderful people...

Guy, and Family --- Memorial Service today in Dadeville ... All there, remembering you, Guy. And here, I will be remembering you and the great times we had at Auburn. Thanks for our friendship, and the memories. Godspeed.

It breaks mine and my Dad's heart to hear of Guy's passing. He was a Great Man! I can still hear him telling me where he was from, " I'm from LA" and I said Los Angeles and he said NO! Lower Alabama. He had a GREAT sense of humor!! GOD willing we will see each other again. God Bless you Guy Maxwell and may you rest in peace!
