Not sure what to say?

Me entero hoy de tu partida. Que tristeza siento, has sido una persona maravillosa. A tu esposa Lori e hijos mis sentidas condolencias. Y a ti Guillermo un abrazo al cielo ! Descansa en paz Roxana Argentina

To Billy's wife, children and sisters. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Billy's passing. I hadn't spoken to him since 1984 but he left a great impression on all those who knew him.

Every so often you cross paths with someone who has the ability to argue a point with passion and not come off as sounding arrogant, mean spirited or self absorbed. It is an even rarer person who can do such and take it to the next level, the end result of which is to actually endear himself to you...

Guillermo's death was so shocking when i heard. He fit perfectly into our family and even though he's no longer with us, we all will keep him close to our hearts. I never said it out loud but i love you guillermo. you were truly a great uncle.

Mr. Monkman was one of my favorite teachers at CSN. His wit and intelligence will be greatly missed. So sorry for your loss.

To Lori and all your children: My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. I am among the many who was shocked by the very sad news of his passing. He will be remembered as a colorful and very expressive man with whom I always enjoyed working. His passion for his work and life in general came through in every conversation.

Lori,
I was stunned and saddened to hear of your husband's untimely death. My deepest condolences to you and your young family.

Lori, I am so sad for your family's loss. Bily was unique in this world, and it is sadder, darker with a touch less passion with him gone. He was one of the first people I met at Emory & Henry and he remained a good friend for over 20 years. Stu and my thoughts are with you and the children.

I too knew Billy from Emory and Henry college in Virginia. I remember him well--not only for his incredible intellect, impassioned ideology, and sense of humor, but also for his wonderful teaching skills. He was my Spanish lab teacher for 2 years and pushed us hard to understand and love his native language. I am so very sorry for his loss.

Lori:

As a matter of circumstance, I rarely bridge "The Gap" but I was so exceptionally stunned by Guillermo's passing that I could not let his death occur without some notation (even if it is somewhat pitifully lamented).

As my brother died of a sudden cardiac arrest two months ago I only have an inkling of what you are experiencing. The reverberations both physically and emotionally are devastating. I cannot express my deepest condolences any further than my sorrow...
