Guinevere Guin Lou Reffett

Guinevere Guin Lou Reffett, age 70, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010, at a Topeka care home. She was born May 13, 1940, in Silver Lake, Kan., the daughter of Floyd McDaniel and Alta M. Tyler McDaniel. She married William Reffett. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was known as Copperhead by her Channel 1 C.B. Club that she enjoyed. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Hamlin. She is survived by her mother, Alta M. Rutledge of Topeka; two sons, Nelson E. Reffett and William L. Reffett, both of Corpus Christi, Texas; four daughters, Lori L. Izworski of Fulton, Mo., Colleen G. Bernelis of Bay City, Mich., Julie A. Barnhill of Peoria, Ill., and Marchelle R. Raber of Topeka; a sister, Wanda Wallace of Anaheim, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Guins wishes were to be cremated. Private inurnment will be at the Belleview Cemetery near Paxico. Davidson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
