Good Ali. You had two remarkable and, in their own ways, noble parents. I remember your speaking about how your handsome setter came to be named "Cruikshank" after a guide to the fortifications within the rock of Gibraltar. Your father was entertaining and straightforward, your mother equally outgoing and poised. Thank you for the line, "her ancestors' ferocity would occasionally flash (over a partner's mistake)." Ali, May you be at peace. I never met your mother to my knowledge, however I sat at your father's lunch table for eighth grade. He told me the story of his proposal to your mother.
