Gunnlaug Magnusson

I was lucky to have been adopted as a 'grandaughter' of Gulla after the passing of her best friend, and my nana, 12 years ago. She was always cheerful, and had an intense passion for all things music.She unsuccessfully tried to teach me how to play piano, but was always proud of my other musical abilities and my art. Words cannot describe how much she meant to me and how dearly she will be missed. RIP Gulla

So saddened to hear this news. Our family met Gulla years ago when my daughter took piano lessons from her and we have kept in touch through the years. I feel so lucky to have known her. She was unique and unusual in all the best ways. I will remember her as always teaching whether it be music or life lessons or a combination of both. I am so happy for the time we spent with her as it is not often you find such an individual that adds so much to your life. She will be greatly missed by...

Wonderful, generous, vivacious, and always young at heart. I have many wonderful memories of Gulla, especially of her and her music-that was her life. She could always light up a room.

So enjoyed talking to this happy lady. Met Gulla at Nordic Lodge. Fun person - always looked beautiful. So sorry to hear about her passing.
