Gus was one of the finest men I've ever known. He aided me with renovating homes, with our business as a councilman among many other things along the years. My condolences to the Frangos family. I'll miss him. Charles Scaravelli

Gus was my friend for 39 years. He was an exceptional person, talented, funny, giving, intelligent, deeply religious yet humble. I had so many good times with him over the years. I am privileged to call him my friend. We were brothers from another mother. I'll miss him dearly. I so wanted to travel with him during retirement too. I'll always remember you buddy.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Gus. I greatly admired Gus who worked tirelessly to restore neighborhoods and communities that were ravaged by foreclosures and unscrupulous banking practices. He and his friend Jim Rokakis were the fathers of the Cuyahog a County Landbank. The model was replicated statewide and nationally to demolish and rebuild entire neighborhoods and industrial centers. "Well done, good and faithful servant!"
