Dear Veneta and Family. May you take great joy in the wonderful memories created throughout your journey with Gus. And may God be with you all at this time of loss. Sincerely, Vicki Johnson Lindroth

Dear Veneta and Family - what a great loss. I know he will be very much missed by all who knew him. I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to know and work for Gus when I was with Basic American in San Francisco. My heart goes out to you and your family at this very sad time in your lives. God Bless all of you. Sally Chulumovich

Dear Veneta, Tracey, Clay, Brian, Jon and Roy, and Families,
It is hard to be so far away and receive such sad news. I guess we all knew this was coming, but that doesn't make it any easier. I feel so helpless. I am comforted by the fact that Gus is greeting his parents and family, and Gr-pa and Gr-ma Holm, and Newt, and other friends who have passed. He is probably resting from the long ordeal of his illnesses in a very beautiful and peaceful environment. We, on the other hand, have...

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. I just talked to Peggy and she was heart broken for you. So are we. I know you have so many great memories and we pray that those memories will sustain you during this horrible time. Love Terrie (Johnson) and Duane Coffey

Dear Veneta,
Sorry to hear about Gus. But I guess that life. Hope you are getting along ok and still playing golf. I have had to give it up due to health issues, but hey, we still have some good memories back when.
And that is what you will cherish and get you through your lost of Gus.

God bless you and your famiily,

Lois Orme

I have many wonderful memories of Gus, and his knowledge of so many different subjects. He was very well read and always had a book in hand or nearby. I remember his love for the cabin and family, and the many get togethers and projects at the cabin. His ability to play the piano was incredible, but took cajoling sometimes to get him to play. He was a great man and his contributions to his friends, family and community will be long remembered. I was lucky to have known him....Sheila
