Legend. Thank for helping my paw paw out, ES Smyrni, Uncle Gus. Heaven is a happier place Jason E Smyrni Mildred Tx

Thoughts and prayers with the Mijalis family and Stacy. Gus was truly larger than life. I feel fortunate to have know him.

I am sure Gus will be resuming his Senior Yell Leader duties. Can't you just hear him yelling at his many buddies - Bucky Schober, Joe LeSage, Billy Hanna, Sinclair Kouns, Pike Hall, Arthur Tait, Buddy Kayser, Sterling Bigner, to name just a few.

All fine men I was privileged and blessed to have know.

Rest in peace my friend.

Jim McCurry

I didn't want to believe that Gus was gone when I got the call, no more weekly phone calls, silly jokes, grumbling and that laugh OMG that laugh....I am going to miss him so much. Stacey and all the Farmers Seafood family you are in my thoughts and prayers. Be strong and remember all the great days you all shared with him. He was on of a kind and so special to so many people. What a life to celebrate!

Rest in peace, Mr. Mijalis. You will be missed and celebrated by a great family.

My prayers and heart goes out to all of Gus's family. And to Stacy. I knew Gus as an aide to Gov Edwards, a true favorite. Gus was a real fun guy, full of life and great ideas.
With prayers,
