Gustav Richard Beimfohr

Gustav Richard Beimfohr, born Oct. 22, 1916 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, left this life to be with his LORD and Savior on Nov. 1, 2006. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Alice M. Beimfohr, he is survived and deeply loved by his children, Rik W. (Barbara) Beimfohr; Sally J. Taylor; Linda S. (Bill) Reeder; grandchildren, Michael, Eric, Laura, Matthew, Jonathan, and great-grandson, Andre. Committed to family, Gus worked alongside his father-in-law, owner of a hardware store in Michigan and later owned his own business, Arizona Glastint Co. in Tempe. Gus was honored to serve as Superintendent of the Sunday School Dept. and Deacon at First Baptist Church of St. Joseph, MI and as Deacon at First Baptist Church of Tempe. Gus' commitment to the LORD and to his family left a lasting imprint on all who knew him. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Sat., Nov. 4, with visitation one hour prior, at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave, Tempe. Donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Tempe.
