Guy G. K. Aiu

Guy-Gregory Kealakaula Aiu, 71, passed away in Honolulu on September 22, 2025. He was the son of Master Kumu Hula Ma'iki Aiu Lake and Honolulu Fire Chief Boniface Aiu; brother to Boniface Aiu, Jr. (all deceased). He is survived by sisters Karen Aiu and Coline Aiu Ferranti, both of Honolulu; brother Scott Aiu of San Francisco CA; niece Faith Aiu of Ewa Beach; nephews Hi'ilei Aiu and Boniface Aiu III, both of Honolulu; sister-in-law Marlene Aiu-Parpal of Kapa'a, Kaua'i. Auwe, I meet Guy some years ago at work with IATSE. I asked him if was related to Maiki Aiu. He said she is my mom. I replied, my grandmother and your mom were close hula sisters and taught by Kumu Hula Lokalia Montgomery. We became instant friends. Love, Aloha and Blessings to the ohana. If possible, i would like to attend his Celebration of Life gathering. Mahalo nui
