Not sure what to say?

What a great guy! He was our Doctor when our son Lane was born. He had such a wonderful sense of humor. We will not forget his kindness.

We loved Walter. His voice-- strong yet soft was distinct. We remember Walter as such an amazing gift for his community and family -- whose life work touched so many with his care and compassion -- and carries on today for future generations. Wonder how many babies he brought into this world ? Gratitude

My sincere condolences to the family in memory of such a fine mentor, physician, and true caring gentleman. I worked with Walt at St. Joseph´s Cilsbirth Center from 1978 to his retirement, and had many a joyous and tremulous moments bringing life into this world! He loved his profession and served each woman with grand dignity and skills of the finest caring. Great memories of his twinkle and his enduring confident smile. Thinking of you, of him and know he will be greatly missed but now in...

Judy, my heart is heavy with and for you. You will miss him but also find comfort in his peaceful, illness free, home. Accept my condolences.

My condolences for his passing. He was a pleasure to work with in Bellingham. Always kind and gentle.

Dr Bayless deliver my first baby by emergency C section in 1994 as the OB on call. I was 22, single, hopeless and scared. His kind words of hope and compassion will forever be remembered. Hugs and prayers to his family.

Dr Bsyless was my doctor in both of my girls births, in 1979 and 1982. He was so kind, nice and gentle. He delivered both my girls with no incisions. How wonderful of a doctor he was!

I knew Walter as a neighbor and the husband of my good friend and fellow book club member Judy Bayless. One of my fondest memory of Walter was when he agreed to attend our book club because he,as an OBGYN, had so much knowledge about the subject of our book choice for a particular month. I will never forget the twinkle in his eyes, the smile on his face and his total engagement in our book club discussion. We wanted him to become our first male member! RIP Walter and our sincere...

I worked with Dr. Bayless at St. Joseph hospital in the O.R. He was an extremely competent surgeon and a caring, kind, compassionate man. He was my idea of a fine gentleman and I respected and admired him. My condolences to his family.
