Not sure what to say?

I was just sitting on my bed looking at this painting and enjoying it. I was curious about Guy and, of course, looked him up and found that he´s passed on. This water color has brought me many years of pleasure and will continue to do so. And when I´m gone it will be passed to another generation for them to enjoy.

I just knew he was gone. I am a art teacher from Taiwan. I showed Guy's to the students. Everyone loves his art! Bless him in heaven now.

We were married in Hawaii and fell in love with Maui. The first art piece we bought as a newlywed couple was Hawaiian Love Song. We collected a number of prints including Shaved Ice, Pau Hana, Pigs Crossing (a real sign on the road to Hana), Napa Valley, Zoo Fence we bought for our Daughter who was 5 and still hangs in her house 35 years later, The French Waiter, the beginning of his culinary series which was made into a 3 dimensinal statue and presented to Wolfgang Puck at the first...

I just learned of Guy's passing. Guy was known, admired, and respected by the tennis-playing community of Makaha, where he launched his Hawaii art career. Every time I drive by Waimanalo Elementary School, I am awed by the fantastic mural Guy painted on its walls. Guy may be gone, but his work extends his life. Bravo, Guy!

I was the next door neighbor to Guy and Lydia on Maui for several years. I visited him while he painted and enjoyed evening snacks and stories with Guy and Lydia. I don´t have the house anymore, but the memories are lasting. Original paintings by Guy evoke the memories of the good times. Rest in peace Guy. My condolences to Lydia.

I remember him daily...his artwork surrounds me and brings joy to my home.

You will be missed by millions around the world. Rest in peace.

I have admired Guy's work from the first moment I laid eyes on them. We had an original watercolor commissioned from Guy, of our beloved cat Stella a couple of years ago, and cherish it above most anything else we own. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. I am heartbroken hearing of his passing.
