Not sure what to say?

He was a good attorney and he built his own home

“Father of all, we pray to you for Guy Edward Daugherty, and for all those whom we love but see no longer. Grant to them eternal rest. Let light perpetual shine upon them. May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.”

Dear Sherry,

Most people remember Guy for being one of the best civil litigation lawyers in Virginia.

I remember him most for being an excellent builder, an adventurous fisherman, an avid golfer, a double black diamond skier, a winning doubles partner in tennis, a kind hearted mentor and a lifelong friend. He is still very much in our memories.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family, especially as we remember Guy on the day he went to heaven.

Over the years, I have told various people what a good lawyer he was and how smart he was to build his house
I still think a lot of him

He was the company attorney for PPG in Norfolk in the late 50 also in the 60
I helped him when he built his first house in Norfolk At one time we were very close.
I thought he was a great man and an a great attorney All though I haven't seen him in years, I thing about him a lot. I know his family will miss him . God bless his family

My deepest sympathy to the family. May God strengthen and comfort you.
Psalm 94:18,19

Dear Sherry,

As you well know, I loved Guy so very much. Guy was like an Uncle to me in my early years through his close friendship and partnership with my Dad.

Guy and my father shared their brilliant insights of law with each other as well as their innate Irish and Welsh sense of humor.
As a little girl, I remember them always laughing together radiating the room with joy.

Perhaps Guy will meet up with his old friend Henry to laugh once again. I pray they watch...

Dear Sherry,
So sad to hear about Guy's passing.I'll never forget the special friendship between my Dad and Guy.They are together again...no doubt sparring!

My sympathy to you and your family.
