Guy Morton "Hoot" Gibson

It's February 2022, and as the 4th anniversary of my dad´s passing approaches, I got to thinking about his friend, Hoot Gibson. I can´t remember if I was aware that Hoot had passed away but I assumed by now he was also no longer living... so I looked him up and found this obituary. I visited Hoot at Autumn Leaves almost every week for several years. He was my favorite character. And on occasion he treated me to lunch at a local Italian restaurant with which he was affiliated. It's easy to see why he was a successful salesman, because he left everyone with a big smile on their faces.
