I just today found out about Guy´s death while reading the new Scot Times. Great friend at a young age. Wonderful personality along with athletic prowess. See e.g., attached photo of rough-and-tumble Griffith. Fortunately, we reconnected, albeit by phone, these past few years, reliving old times and sharing the blessings of new times.

Guy and I also went to the New York World's Fair together in 1964 with my mom when he and I were 10. Great experience: helicopter rides, subway at night ... Then Guy, his dad, and I (and two others) went camping in the Pecos(?) Mountains of New Mexico when we were maybe 15 years old. I struggled with the strenuous climbs at that altitude, but it was certainly a memorable trip. Then, alas, we parted close connections.
