Not sure what to say?

The perpetrator that did this to your son totally destroyed my sons innocence and happy childhood as well. I hope and pray you can somehow ensure the perpetrator be supervised in the community if he ever gets out of gaol. I hope your son rests in peace, and I hope and pray noone else has their life ruined by this perpetrator; and that he himself heals, and is sorry for the indescribably terrible pain he has caused to others and their families and loved ones. Your trusting son was dearly...

I was fortunate to meet Guy for the first and only time last December 16th where we exchanged notes about playing double reed instruments (I a bassoonist) and he told me he was best man at my teacher's wedding in London!

He was a lovely man with whom to speak and we also spoke about his involvement as soloist in the ACO's first concert in 1975.
He certainly made his mark in Australasian music.
My thoughts are with his family.

R.I.P. Guy. Such a genuine person, and ever the consummate gentleman. I feel privileged to have known you.
Sincere condolences to the family.

Always a gentleman and one of the finest oboists ever. Our deepest sympathy to his family.

Guy was a much admired and respected musician in the formative years of the New Zealand National Orchestra (now the NZSO). He was Principal Oboe 1953-55 and 1958 to 1967. His beautiful tone is still vivid in my memory, and I also had the privilege of performing with him in radio broadcasts, accompanying him on the organ. Sincere condolences to Guy's family. Peter Averi, former Concert Manager of the Orchestra

Guy was a marvellous teacher and a good friend at the time of my life, that I needed it. His playing and ready friendship will always be fresh in my mind

Vale, dear Friend and colleague. Ronald Webb
