Not sure what to say?

My wife bought me the book ‘Lafleur, The Legend’ several weeks back. I my mind, and I’m sure for many fans, ‘Lafleur’ still lives. That was my mind set, when I started reading the book and had to put it down for a couple of weeks when I realized he did pass. My late father and all our immediate family members have been live long fans of the Montreal Canadiens. His commitment and style of playing the game is next to none, in all the good way, of course. It was a great pleasure to watch...

Just received and reading the book Lafleur The Legend. I’m a Bruin guy and Guy broke our hearts in 1979 but I loved him as a player. He died 2 1/2 months before my wife. Best wishes to his family.

R.I.P Mr.Guy

What a hero! I remember the first time I saw Guy Lafleur in Calgary when practising with the Montreal Canadians in the early 80s at the Calgary Stampede Corral. I was working the midnight shift and a co-worker, Paul told me they were practising that morning at the Corral. I took my son (very young hockey player) and daughter (very young, to be a ringette player) from school, with me that morning and off we went to the Corral. There was Guy Lafleur, flying down the ice with the puck, and team...

Guy Lafleur, a legend and such a big part of so many Canadien hockey fans lives.. Thank you for the memories.
You were loved and will never be forgotten.

Thoughts and prayers are with the family. Guy was my childhood idol. Watching him and looking forward to the games got me through some tough times during my adolescence. Thx Guy ❤

I wanted to let Guy Lafleur´s Family know how much joy he brought to me and my family over the years. From the first time I saw him streak down the ice to score to working with him on one of his business ventures, I always admired his passion for excellence! Guy was truly our generation´s superstar Hockey player and always brought us all to our feet every game he played. May his soul Rest In Peace !
