Not sure what to say?

Mr. Orcutt was my teacher when I attended Whitaker in 1999. He was such a great teacher. He taught us English and Photography. I randomly thought about him today and googled him to only find out he passed away in 2010. That sadden me! May he rest in eternal peace. What a great teacher he was. I'm so glad I got to encounter his soul!

Love you.

He was my english teacher and I will never forget him. He taught me a lot and he was an amazing person. I'm 23 years old now, I went to wilson highschool, and graduated in 2012, and he was the most amazing teacher I ever had and he was so incredible and taught me and everyone in our class so much about life, not just english lessons, but so much about life and growing in general. I'm so thankful I had him as a teacher and got to learn from him and experience him in my life. Thank you so much....

Guy Uncle taught me so many things from the start of us being a family. When i had troubles or any problems with school or anythings else he was always there. He always told me never to give up when at times i was about ready to. Guy Uncle introduced me to many things like fishing, photography, writing, and enjoy reading books. I love you so much for teaching me to become the person I am today. You will be in my thoughts always and i will think of you and what you would say if I were to give...

Linda, Zoe, Lily,

On the way to Tillamook, at Mill's Bridge, we always crane our necks to see if the Little North Fork Wilson is flowing clear.

Guy's achieving preservation of that section of old growth up there - the very last remnant on the entire Tillamook Forest - is a fitting tribute to the man, and his passion for rivers and the trout & salmon that live there.

I will always remember Guy Stanley dressed in his gear and ready to go fly fishing. He was so happy then. He was truly in his element and content with life.

Dear Linda,
You and Guy lit a candle in my heart when first we met. . .
. . and now it burns with sense of loss: Too many miles apart, too few the times to meet and share views of art, especially the art of loving the living planet as well as the wonderfully diverse tribe we are a part of. During Guy's visit to his sister Harriet's place, we talked with great excitement about getting together in the coming year to share family history (and myths), since we each felt we had...

Guy and Linda enjoying a meal at Christmas time

I had the pleasure to meet Guy back in the early 1970's in new Haven Connecticut. I was struck by his sensitivity towards the arts in general and his appreciation for all that make life a richer and more beautiful place. His abilities to learn languages was very evident when he ask me if he could read French novels to me to improve his French accent.
He appreciated my violin playing and made an effort to show interest by listening to my playing. He was a very accomplished acoustic...
