Not sure what to say?

Our family grew up with the Bernard family in Laurelhurst. We all send our thoughts and prayers on the loss of your brother. The Murphys

Guy was a very nice person. You can´t say that about many people. He will be missed. RIP!

May you be comforted with the assurance that "He whom you love and lose is no longer where he was, but now wherever you are" St. John Chrysostom Please accept my condolences and deepest sympathy, fondly. Carol Peixotto

So sorry to hear of Guy's passing. Always enjoyed him and I will miss him.

We knew the Bernard family as nextdoor neighbors on Hazelfern. When our mom passed away in 2013, Guy reached out to me. It was so great to hear from him and then get caught up on our families after many, many years. On behalf of my brothers, John and Steve, please accept or sincere condolences on the loss of a great and courageous man. Leslie Wilson-Flammini, California John Wilson, Portland Steve Wilson, Longmont, CO (VN Vet, 67-68)

Guy was a classmate at Central Catholic High School and the University of Portland. We were fellow Air Force ROTC cadets and later, Air Force Officers. Always in high spirits, with a ready joke or laugh, Guy was a solid, patriotic type. His missions in Vietnam were filled with peril and demanded the best from the EWO (Electronic Warfare Officer). His family is justly proud of his devotion to them, his country and his comrades. RIP, old friend.

Guy was one of my favorites. His youthful spirit and positive energy will be missed. God speed to one of the good ones. Best wishes to family and friends. Sincerely, Warren Hastings
