I moved to Va. Beach in 1989.If I wanted to play tennis Guy was the person to contact. He not only got me on a couple of teams but always stayed in touch.I will never forget his laugh and gentle way of working with his teams. He was like a director with a racquet pointing out his wisdom for the game..and you had better follow his lead .You will be missed..It was a pleasure knowing him..

Dear Rule family,
My first experience with guy was watching his play and hoping that I would be as good as he was when I reached his age. His laughter and smile was infectious to all of us! He will be truly missed.

Paul and Mary,
Guy Rule was special to many people, and I consider myself fortunate to be included in that number. His infectuous laugh, positive spirit and true good-heartedness will be missed by all those he touched. The tennis community has lost one of its most ardent advocates and supporter. We all have stories about Guy and those stories will live on. My condolences to you during this very sad time.
