Guy Gene Sparks

Graveside service for Guy Gene Sparks, 53, of Hillsboro will be Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Morris Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Oscar Gray officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home.
Mr. Sparks, who died Saturday, October 2, 2010, at his residence, was born March 17, 1957, in Lawrence County to Guy and Shirley Sparks. He was a carpenter, loved the outdoors and fishing. His favorite thing to do was to walk the river. He served his country with honor, pride and proud to be a United States Marine.
Survivors include his parents; sons, Thomas Sparks of Seattle, Wash., and Robert Sparks of Chattanooga, Tenn.; brothers, Johnny Sparks and wife, Anita, Rodney Sparks and wife, Bonnie,
and Delmer Sparks.
