Not sure what to say?

Dear Wright Family, my condolences to all of the extended Guy Wright family, readers & friends. A fellow writer, I often spoke with Guy back in the 1960s & 70s to discuss and parry on a myriad of community and world issues. What a great sense of humor, a great thinker. I missed him and his column back then when he left the paper and from time to time over the years, wondered "whatever happened to .... "

Guy was a great influence in my political and social "growing up" in San Francisco. I will continue to miss his wonderful insights on life.

What a wonderful writer Guy Wright was and what common sense he possessed!!

I think one of my high school English teachers "forced" us to read the daily newspaper and comment on the articles we read. I soon zeroed in on Guy Wright's column as my source and continued to read his column until he retired many years later.

My condolences to his family and friends. I also feel that I have lost a friend.
