Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Baker was my English teacher at Jeff State in the early 1990's. She was in her 40's, but her braces made her look much younger. I took 4 courses from her (English 101, 102 and 2 literature courses) and she taught me more than any teacher I ever had. She was pretty tough, but she challenged me to live up to my potential. She had 5 children and I felt like I knew them personally because she always talked about them.
Her son Sam played football at Mississippi State and she frequently...

Mrs. Baker was a lighthouse...there are few people in this world that can do what she did, and is still doing; bringing out the best in each of us ...I will remember you always.

I met you when I flew with Charlie to Shriners June 1983. I was the nurse from Children's. I was looking at a box of special letters and cards and came across your letter of thanks you sent out to so many who helped your family. I went to the internet and saw your wife and mom died just 10 days ago. I am so sorry for your loss.
Blessings,

"Our memories of Guyanne dates back to 1952 in Greenville, Miss. Our mother, Velma Chapman, was the Drew family nanny. My sister, Mary and I , spend many days and nights with Guyanne, Dan, and Kathryn (the baby) enjoying the simply life. Our only regret , after Dan contacted us after 55+ years, we did not speak with Guyanne."
"May God bless this wonderful family"

In such a brief time of knowing Mrs. Baker I learned that you can love life even through the hardest of times. Always so positive. Always so loving. Always such a joy in her eyes even through her final trial. She loved her children. She loved her family. And I know one day we'll see her again! It's shouting time in Heaven for a beloved sister has come home! Mrs. Baker, you are loved! To your family--may God bless you.

Mrs. Baker was one of my teachers at Jefferson State Community College. There is no doubt, that she was one of the best instructors I ever had. I consider her a great mentor, who was responsible for my intellectual development and worldview. She was more than that, however. She was a Christian women who often spoke about faith and that encouraged me to go after God. She also inspired me to continue in my educational pursuits. I believe, furthermore, that God put her in my life to mentor and...
