Not sure what to say?

To Gwen's husband George & Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Gwen was a dear friend of my Mom's, Audrey Mason. While my Mom was very sick, Gwen always took the time to call and see how my Mom was.
She had such a kind heart and was a wonderful friend to my Mom.
Rest well, Gwen.

What an incredible legacy that Gwen and Mert have fostered. Incredible people, incredible family. My friends. Thanks Gwen! Love, prayers and thoughts for all of you--Betsy

I met Gwen over 20 years ago and consider myself very lucky to have known her all these years. Her smile lit up the room as she entered. She became like a sister to me. We shared joys and sorrows over the years and she touched my life in a way I will never forget. I know through her kindness and generosity she touched many other lives as well. What a lady! She will be missed but never forgotten. REST IN PEACE, GWEN!!

Gwen was one of the nicest women I had the pleasure of meeting at the Assistance League. At New Member Orientation, Gwen always made the new members feel so welcome. She looked forward to speaking to each and every one of them and getting to know them better. She will be missed and Heaven has indeed received an Angel.

So sorry to see this. Gwen was the
spirit of the ALRS. I met her through the Op.School Bell Project, and brought hundreds of children for clothing over the years as a school counselor.
She did a great job there~!

What a GREAT LADY! I was proud calling you a friend. Marty Gruwell (Reno, Nv.)

You were the best Gigi and grandma that anyone could ever hope for or have. I promise that you will live on through us and our memories of you will last forever. Your strength, kindness, compassion, and love are qualities that we all hope that we possess. We love you more than anything!
Love, Your Jilli

Meeting Gwen Baxter at the Assistance League of Reno-Sparks was like meeting someone you had known your whole life. She was the warmest, sweetest and most gentle lady. Working with her over the years only increased your respect for her love of country, community, family and friends. She was truly a class act and all who had the privilege of knowing her will surely miss her. Deepest condolences to her family.
