I first met Gwen 19 years ago. I just moved to Marietta and took my son for swimming lessons, there I met Gwen and her boys from that day on we became friends. She was the kind of friend that you could tell anything too. We cryed together and laughed together, she helped me thur some hard times. To of known Gwen you had to Loved Her, she was just that kind of a person. She will always have a place in my Heart, I'll miss my Friend Gwen.

I met Gwen through my son, Bobby, and her son, Tyler, when they were in elementary school. I have been blessed to know her. Gwen so loved her family and she would laugh as she would tell me stories and funny things they all did. She was very proud of Bill, Tyler, and Andrew and would light up when she talked about them. We lost touch over the years as our children went separate ways, but when we did talk, it was like no time had passed at all. I knew she was the type of friend who would...

I have known Gwen for many years. I remember her positive loving spirit the most. She was always such a joy to be around and was always so giving. She definitely made a mark on my life and in my heart at a time in my life when I was becoming a woman myself. We shared being the only girl in a family of boys and shared so many other feelings and thoughts from the heart. What a classy lady! She will be missed very much! I am sure she will make sure every woman in heaven has the best...

As a sister-in-law and as a friend for more than 44 years, Gwen was always there for me and especially for my children. I watched her grow from the awkward little sister her brothers lovingly called "Olive Oyl" -- to a beautiful woman, wife, mother and beloved "Aunt Gwen" to her many neices and nephews. Her radiant smile, ready laugh, warm hugs and heartfelt understanding will be missed by all of us. To have had her as my "sister" was a special blessing.

To Gwens Family, over the past 15 yrs. I was truly blessed by Gwen's presence in my life. I lost my husband unexpectedly so I know your pain. God truly wraps his arms around us and with time memories will be the treasures of your life. Gwen will live on within all of us who were blessed by knowing her. Find peace and joy in your memories and treasure them close to your heart! God speed,
A friend blessed by Gwen, Patsi Peacock
