Rev. Gwen W. Sears

A friend had read a story about an 85 year old she admired. For her a role model for that age was rare. I had my beautiful crones and the blessed good sense to invite you and the crones to tea. Just yesterday I listed off to her your accomplishments. Your lives together. All my love to every life you touched. May your memory will always be a blessing.

I was lucky to be born into the loving community at St.Stephens Church where Gwen dedicated her faith, time, knowledge, and efforts showing so much love to those around her. She was there at my baptism, my first communion, and every Sunday service up until I became a young adult. I'm better for knowing such a soul.

remembering her comfort and friendship during the sickness and passing of my brother and his wife, Alfred and Gloria Koch. She was a special lady.

I taught preschool Sunday school at Saint Stephen's for 6 years Under Gwen's guidance.many fond memories from that time.her faith was Monumental. she is where her faith has lead her and I'm sure she's at peace

I am so saddened to hear of Gwens passing.She was a dear friend and godmother to me .I know she has now seen Jesus face to face and is rejoicing in heaven.

To the Sears family, So sorry to hear about the passing of your mother/grandmother. What a wonderful woman. May she rest in peace.

Gwen was a guiding light through my entire life. I will miss her.
