I don't live in the area so I was not around Gwen much, but when I was she was the most friendly & outgoing individual which made you feel you had known her forever.

I worked with Gwen at MDOC for 6 years. I remember how much she would lift my days. She was always cheerful and I remember how much she would laugh. She was one of the people I missed the most when I took another job in another department. She often told me about her family. It was clear that her life revolved around all of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Needless to say, I was shocked when I heard about Gwen's passing. She was one of the most treasured friends I made when I worked with her in Lansing at Corrections. I can still hear her infectious laugh and sarcastic smarts! She will be so missed. Prayers to her family from my daughter, Geri, who tutored the kids, and me as well.
