Visitation will be held at Word of Life Community Church on Sat. Aug. 11, 2018 from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral hour. Dr. Henry Roberts, Pastor and Officiating Minister. Interment to follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL REESE FUNERAL HOME Directing.
I was so sad to hear of Gwen's passing. She was such a beautiful and sweet soul. We'll certainly miss her beautiful smile and kindness. My condolences to her family. Harriett Thomas

I too, am a part of Gwen's Bank family. I have always admired her
grace under pressure as well as her predictable kindness and pleasantness. Gwen was someone that could pray with such passion and sincerity. She was an ultimate professional ,as well as one of the best bakers around town.

When I heard of your demise I said God has called his soldier home.
You stood your post and served us well. And Iam honored to have shared a part of my life with you.
