Gwendolyn Maurine Cullen

Gwendolyn Maurine Phillips Cullen, 93, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Monday, December 5, 2005 in Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Cullen was born, October 31, 1912, in Greenwood County, Kansas, the daughter of the late Edward E. and Hilda Norton Phillips. She was a bookkeeper for Robinson Export- Import Corporation in Alexandria, Virginia, and a member of First United Methodist Church, Madison, Kansas.

Her husband, Joseph W. Cullen preceded her in death in 1986.

Surviving is her daughter, Darla L. Daggit, of Grove City, Pennsylvania; one grandson, Andrew A. Daggit, of Front Royal, Virginia, one great grandson, Bryant T. Daggit, of Winchester, Virginia; and her sister, Florene Phillips, of Dallas, Texas. One sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, Winchester, Virginia, with Pastor Rick Kerfoot officiating. Private interment will be held in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Alexandria, Virginia.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 6:00 -7:00 PM prior to the service at Omps Funeral Home, Winchester, Virginia.
