Not sure what to say?

Missing her as much today as the day she left us...

My prayers and sympathy go to all you children. I will always remember you Mom for the many hours at the YMCA and Wythe Pool supporting our kids for many years. Running into Gwen at Ming Gate and how we missed it when they closed. So many fun times. Will always have Happy Memoories of your Mom. Mary Caroline Boerner

One of the best in our community. Will miss her smile, friendship and warm greetings.

I grew up on Linden Avenue two doors down from Gwen´s parents. I was a child and I remember standing on our front porch watching her in her wedding gown get in the car. Years later we met again at the Old Point Christmas party. Always enjoyed talking to her.

Wendy, sorry to learn of your mother's passing. Prayers for comfort sent!

My Love and sympathy to my cousins. I am grateful I did see Aunt Gwen back in 2019 when in Hampton for a visit. She was always kind and thoughtful and I have many happy memories of Aunt Gwen and Uncle Bobby at Grandfather and LeeLee's house (346 East Pembroke Ave) Sundays after Church. I will always think of her now reunited with Uncle Bobby the love of her life.

Prayers for the family,I grew up with the Cummings on Ericcson Drive.

Gwen was such an inspiration to many people around the Hampton area. She was a gracious, friendly and caring lady to everyone she met. We will miss her great smile and all the things she worked for in Hampton will miss her leadership.

My Prayers and Love to all of you Children. Gwen was very special and I always enjoyed any time I had with her. Mary Caroline Boerner
