Not sure what to say?

Sincerest Condolences,

Dr. Cunningham and my father, Charles B. Sigmon (principal of Winterfield Elementary), worked together in Charlotte-Mecklenburg for many years and were great friends. Gwen was the personification of grace, beauty and intellect. She was always so kind to everyone and made each person feel valued and special. I remember visiting her at her home after a death in her family. She was dressed in the most beautiful black dress I had ever seen. Her posture and speech were always impeccable and...

Our thoughts and prayers to the entire family. Remembering Ms. Cunningham as our great principal at Double Oaks Elementary School, always caring for the welfare of her students. Love to you all ---- Walton siblings (Marsala, Gloria, Rick and Pam)

May peace be with you and know that our thoughts and prayers go out to your family

As a member of the Davidson-Osborne contingency of the family, I was so very blessed to hear the many inspiring Christ-honoring tributes to my cousin. She truly exemplified that wise old saying, "Only one life, t'will soon be past. Only what's done for Christ will last." Thank you, Gwen, for letting your light so shine that men were able to see and experience your good works, to the glory of our Heavenly Father and of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

My condolences to Dr. Adair and family. She was one of My mother's very best friends. I will miss "Aunt Gwen".

Thank you for the time you spent with me in the Ed Building, thank you for believing in me when I lost faith in myself, I'm a father, husband, pastor, overseer, community leader and a MAN because of you, I WILL ALWAYS THINK OF YOU

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

My prayers and blessing to the family of a wonderful woman whom God has shown favor with a long life. A great principal of mine at Oaklawn School, who cared and loved her children. She was a legend in the community.
