Gwen spent one semester at North Central College (Illinois) when she was at Spelman, and my Mom (Rosalie Bargmann) was her roommate. She always had fond memories of their semester together. I'm not sure if they kept in touch. I'm attaching a newspaper article that I found in my Mom's things when she passed away.
