Not sure what to say?

I have a lot of fond memories of Franklin Street. Well before kindergarten Gwen taught us how to read, and she made an adventure out of it! Mrs. Scheerer always made me feel welcome in the family home, as if I was one of her own. Such a wonderful lady.

I also want to add my sympathy to the family and friends of Gwen. She was always a bright star to so many of us with her joy and positive spirit. Her smile and love will live on.

Gwen always had a smile and kind words along with a touch of humor. I enjoyed visiting with her. She was missed when she moved from Arizona to Michigan. I am from Muskegon so we both reminiscent about the area and State. I love you Gwen. Prayers to the family and friends

Gwen was a dear friend. I would meet Gwen and Dorothy Tyler at 7 in the am and we would walk the circle. It was our therapy. Miss them both. Love you Gwen

Oh my, what a wonderful, warm, classy, gal! I always enjoyed seeing Gwen, she made you feel special! May memories bring lots of smiles and comfort as she was one of the best! Marcia Brichan

I enjoyed my friendship with Gwen for many years in North Muskegon and our participation in the Muskegon Service League - Group 10. She possessed a positive attitude and always a smile. Irene Pierson

Gwen will be greatly missed. She was an amazing person...I loved her very much! She was a lot like my own Grandma (Catherine)...always having family gatherings and just so much fun to be around. Never a loss for words or conversation! Family was everything!!! Our whole family will always remember the wonderful times with her at her cottage on Lake Michigan! Hugs to the whole family. Jayne and Carl Platz

Ann, Jack & Ben, Your Mom was very special to me & Perri family. We treasure our memories of the growing up our Franklin Street neighbors. I spent many hours babysitting for Libby, Jack & Ann. You are in my thoughts & prayers. Sincerely, Helen Perri Evans

So sorry for your loss. Your family has been life long friends and i have so many great memories of Gwen growing up in NM. We were very luck to spend time with her, at the A-frame, this past summer. Love and hugs Barbie Pflaum
