Not sure what to say?

Edward was the kind of man who could quickly make himself a fixture in a place – in many ways, a trip to International Delights or the Branigan Cultural Center in Las Cruces was never truly complete until one had seen Edward and chatted with him for a bit. And he was always good for a chat – aside from his family and his work, in fact, his most lasting legacy may well be his kindness and openness toward friends, young writers in particular. He knew the business, he'd made it his life, and...

Edward was one of the first people I met upon moving to Las Cruces and I worked with him frequently at the Museum of Art. I admired his passion for writing and he was always extremely supportive of my creative pursuits (as well as my husband's). He was extremely proud of his daughter, his work for the museums, and his written work. The world is a duller place without him. He will be missed.

please contact me, I think your father is a cousin of mine.

Sometimes, a person becomes such a fixture in your life, it isn't until they are gone that you realize it. Edward was such a person. I first met him when my daughter Natasha worked at Claymore's. Through the years we ran into him about town or at his reading. He was a gentleman and will be missed.

I look back with fondness on our many conversations at Chad's coffee house, and I remember how often and with what pride he talked about his daughter and former wife.

When I visited the Cultural Center, I always looked forward in seeing Edward. His demeanor was so proper combined with a great personality plus a wonderful smile. I will miss his presence in the art world and around town.

My sympathy and prayers are with you…

Edward was a great and interesting person!! I knew him ver well from delivering mail to the BCC everyday. He will be deepley missed!!!

My name is Natasha, I worked at Claymore's coffee house where Edward was a daily regular. I will always remember our conversations on books, my schooling (I was attending NMSU at the time) and family. He always spoke of his daughter with such pride. Edward became such a fixture in my life it is so hard to imagine him gone. But in a sense he will never be gone forver because of the memories he has left behind with all of us who knew him. Please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers and I...

Edward was a regular in my coffee house and I considered him a friend. He was there the day my daughter took her first steps. He was a good person and I will miss him.
