H. Birt Etienne M.D.

Kay - just read this and I am so terribly sorry. As you know, Dr. Etienne was a huge presence in my early Navy Career. He was a mentor, a colleague, and a friend. I was so blessed to have in my life those many years ago.

To The Family of Captain H. B. Etienne, USN-Ret Birt was a Godsend to the men of USS St Paul (CA-73) during two 6 month cruises to Vietnam l969-1970. We have been friends since that time. Tony respected him and loved the good doctor who shared officers quarters with him during that time on the ship.
