Dear Judy, Oh my God, I can't believe Dr. Fitch is gone. I am so sorry I wasn't at his memorial, I just heard of his death at my 12/28 appt. with Dr. Bonafede. You know I would have been there if I'd known. It's hard to put into words how much he meant to me. He was and always will be my Hero. Because of him, growing up with RA didn't completely destroy my life. I will never forget the sound of him whistling as he walked toward the exam room or surgery room I was waiting for him in. ...

Our loved ones leave footprints in our hearts, impressions of those little things they did for us, loving words, a gentle touch. In time these footprints will lead us to memories of happy times shared and we will smile again.
