Not sure what to say?

Mum, we miss you so much. It´s hard to believe that God took you from us five years ago. Your memory lives within our heart every day. Love, Andi & Ty

Such a wonderful memory of Miss H, so proud to say that I was in her English class at EBHS in 1967. She was an inspiration to many, very professional and intelligent. We had plenty of laughs as we we were learning from the best of the best.
May You Rest In Eternal Peace Miss H. We all lived and respected you.
❤❤

Miss Halkopoulos was my favorite teacher. She connected with everyone and brought out the best in all of us. Her love of teaching was evident whether it was teaching sentence structure or guiding us through the required reading, "Idylls of the King" came to life making a dreaded assignment enjoyable. I graduated from EBHS in 1965 and have thought of her often.

I was always afraid to call her hp out of respect but that was her down to earth and as real as the day is long she put her heart and soul into everthing she did she was like larry bird was to the celtics she made everone around her better what a legacy what she did specifically with class day was to find the inner soul of so many kids what she taught us in the three months that it took to prepare with team work and hard work could accomplish she prepared a band music sheets choreagraphed...

Miss HP was the heart and soul of Eastie High. I was lucky enough to be under her guidance as part of the cheerleading squad. She always told us we were the "cream of the crop" and the wonderful thing is that we all believed her! I'm grateful too that she came to our class reunions over the years and showed us how to age with beauty, style, grace and humor. My deep condolences to her family. She gave so much of herself to the school community and will never be forgotten.

Allyn...

To the Halkopoulos family, our sincere condolences for your loss. She was an amazing woman, we all loved her very much. This is a very sad time for all of us, it's so hard to comprehend all of this, we just assumed she would be around forever.
Sincerely,

So very sorry to hear about the passing of Miss Halkopoulos. I was her pro schola in 1974 at East Boston High School. She was pretty, smart, no nonsense and witty! I was lucky to have known her!
