Not sure what to say?

Barbara,
Mark & I are still in shock. HC was one in a million. I will never forget how upset he was the day Ed was run over and he cried with me when I was at your house. He helped me so much after Mark moved and I was in the house by myself. You two were the best neighbors we've ever had. We will miss him deeply. He is most definitely in heaven because I've never met another human being who was more caring, giving and wonderful. Please keep in touch and if you ever need anything we...

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Dear Kilpatrick Family,

While I may not know your family personally, as a fellow Coast Guard member, my thoughts are with you during this very difficult time.

My father passed away unexpectedly late October 2008 at the young age of 54, so my family is painfully aware of what these trying times feel like.

Please know if you ever need a helping Coast Guard hand, I am stationed in New Orleans as well.

God bless,
LTJG Kristen Nicholson Baker

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to both your families. H.C. had a big heart and he left a huge impact on everyone he came in contact with. From one Coast Guard Family to another, we love you. Steve ,Charlotte, Stephanie, and Brittany

Dear Barbara, Blake and I are so sorry for your terrible loss. We will all miss H.C. greatly. He has been a wonderful friend and mentor to all who knew him. I'm sorry that I couldn't get off work for the funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love, Mary

Barbara and Family,
It is with the deepest sympathies that I write you. I worked with H.C. in Kodiak and am shocked to hear of his passing. May god bless you in your time of grievance.

Barbara,
I am so sorry for your loss. It is a loss to everyone that knew HC. From the moment i reported to ESD and found out that he was from the same "neck of the woods" as me, we were close. I considered you and HC as my best friends. To be honest HC was kinda like a 2nd dad to me. I will miss him so much. Please keep in touch with me and let me know if you need anything. My thoughts and prayers are with y'all. I love y'all!

My family and I have had the honor of having HC and Barbara as neighbors for the past several years and would like to extend our most sincere sympathies. We are heartbroken at the loss of such a true loving soul. He touched so many people with his caring, generous and genuine nature.

Barbara,

There are no words to describe the shock and sorrow I feel, and I'm sure you're dealing with as well. Tiffany and I were remembering the day you watched Hayley while Tyler was born, and how HC was the first to hold my son after he was born, aside from Tiffany and I. HC was my best friend while in Alaska and truly the Lord took him sooner than any of us could have anticipated. Please let us know what we can do for you. Our prayers are with you, Clay, and your...
