Not sure what to say?

Dear Doug,

So sorry for the loss of your father. I'm glad he was able to move to be close to you, and spend time with you, Angela, Charlotte and
Juliette. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

With love,
"Aunt" Debbie

My dearest Preppy,
Bill and I are sharing in the sadness at the passing of your father, Carl. It was a blessing that he could be closer to you, Angela and the girls so that you could create more family memories. We pray that God give you and Angela comfort and peace during this time. Know that our prayers are with you.

Sending our love,
Aunt Lorraine

During my years in SCWDC management, Carl was the venerable elder statesman. He advised us on many of the challenges of the day. A true gentleman, he was wise with his counsel, generous with his time, and friendly in his demeanor. My condolences to his family and friends.

As a former SCWDC President, I worked with Carl on many occasions. Carl was ALWAYS the consummate professional and VERY easy to work with. He was ALWAYS friendly and willing to help no matter what the task at hand. I know that I will miss him and I am sure that he will be SORELY missed by everyone who knew him and worked with him.
My sincerest condolences to Carl's family and friends.

I had the privilege of knowing Carl in his later years as a member and past president of the Ski Club of Washington DC, and enjoyed many delightful conversations with him. He was highly intellligent yet humble, elegant yet down to earth. A true Gentle Man in every respect.I know he is in good hands now and forever.

You were deeply loved, Uncle Carl. Now you are whole again and resting in the arms of Jesus....see you in Heaven! Jon and Betty -Faith, too!

Doug-
What a life your father had! We should all be so lucky and loved. Sending love from Grand Rapids.
Amy
