Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with your family, especially as you enter the new normal. May you all sense His peace that passes all understanding.

We are sending our sincere sympathy to the Shear family this evening. Although our paths didn't cross that often, we always appreciated his kindness, his smile, his sincere Christian faith and the caring man that he was. Joe was a man that many looked up to and will be missed. May God's love be with you at this time.

Dearest Aunt Alice and Family,

I'm sorry for our loss. I will always remember uncle Joe as a kind and caring person. I am ever so thankful that you and uncle Joe were there when dad passed on to take care of mother in her time of loss, he did so many things for us. I know it will be difficult in the days to come without him but, when those moment do come just think of all the smiles that uncle Joe put on all of our faces. Yes uncle Joe is no longer with us but we are absolutely...

We are praying you will feel His arms and hear His words of comfort spoken directly to your hearts. Joe was dear to us to a degree that is not related to the number of times we were with him or to the miles between us. He was a sweet man and the head of a sweet family. We love you.
Mary for all the Craigs

Deepest sympathy to all the extended family of Joe Shear.

We were classmates at Knapp St School, on the corner of Knapp and the E. Beltline. Three of us in the same class!

Joe was always a kind and friendly person and I remember with fondness our boyhood days.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Trust in the Lord's decisions, may he give you comfort and support during this difficult time.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers! Its so hard to be so far away when all I want to do is give you all a hug!! Uncle Joe has been there for so many of us throughout the years, for the girls and I when Dave died and for my mom and all of us when we lost our Dad. He is very special to all of us and will be truly missed. We pray that God will give you comfort and peace! Love you all!!!
