First, Rush has depart of dimension and we are separated from his wonderful sense of humor for a time. When we arrive we will be reunited. And will begin where we left off.
Betty and your children, I am Al Kessler, the son of the older Al, and enjoyed the tutelage of my Dad for many years. Dad loved to be with Rush and he introduced me to Rush and many others of the "Wild Old Bunch". I met you twice and was with Rush a number of times at various gatherings. I was always impressed...

I shall always cherish the times we had together in the Utah Westerners. Your insights into Utah history and your uncanny ability to ferret out the facts will be missed

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Spedden family. I remember Rush so well when he worked with me at Kibbe & Associates (A. Payne Kibbe). I remember his wonderful stories about the pioneers and the discrepancies in their travels. Rush had much knowledge and was always willing to share his knowledge with others. I remember those wonderful times he told me about exciting things that he had done while skiing. He loved to ski and looked forward to the snow season so he could hit the slopes....

Dear Rush we will miss you. In deepest Sympathy. Death is only a horizon and a horizon is only the limitation of our sight.

What a privilege it has been to have known this wonderful man. He was a great friend, one whom I will always remember and admire. He was certainly a man of multi-talents. In addition to what is written in his obituary, he was an outstanding photographer and computer expert. There was absolutely nothing that Rush did not excel in. We had such great fun skiing the deep powder at Alta. Among his many legacies, establishing the Wild Old Bunch of Alta, Utah is a monument which has brought great...
