Not sure what to say?

Dear Chik,
I am sorry for your loss. While I did not know Ulku, she sounds like a wonderful person who loved her family and was loved dearly in return. I hope you all have many beautiful memories of your vibrant, beloved wife and mother. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Chick:

I'm saddened to hear of your loss. While I never met your wife, her photograph reveals a countenance of quiet humor backstopped by intellegence; much as I remember you.

Please let me take this opportunity to thank you for your help, guidance and wisdom (again with intellegence and humor) during the time I was your student at PSU.

We are deeply saddened with the news of Ulku's passing. She was the quintesential modern Turkish lady who had the biggest heart. We will miss her dearly. Murat, our dear friend, we are always here to give you support and strength.

We are sorry to hear of Ulku's passing.
Connie and I are praying for God to give you peace and comfort. You have been a positive influence throughout my professional life.

Chik,

Linda and I are sorry for your loss. In the difficult days ahead know that you have the support and thoughts of your and Ulku's Portland State friends and colleagues.

Dear Chik,
We are truly saddened to learn of Ulku's passing. We cherish the wonderful times we have enjoyed with her over the past decades, leaving us with many precious memories.
Ying and Kun and their families join us in letting you know that we all are thnking of you and praying that God will give you peace and comfort, and will keep you in His care.

Dear Chik,
I was so sorry to read of Ulku's death. I remember how much she loved Kemal when he was born and how sweet and kind she was to me, Ugur, and Kemal. I can't believe it has been 46 years since we first met her but Kemal is now 46 so I guess it was. Ulku was funny, kind, sweet, generous and a beautiful lady. I'm so sorry.

Remembering Ulku brings a smile to my face probably because of the smile she had when she entered a room. She was always excited to see us and wanted to know all that was going on in our lives

Dear Chik
I just arrived home today (Sun) and YauHwa told me of Ulku's passing. I am so sorry. I will always remember her with a delightful smile on her face. She was a most gracious Lady.
