It was an honor to know the Luge, even though it was always brief while visiting in Gainesville. We are very sorry for your loss.

Remembering a very special man. A very successful man whom never forgot his roots and the people and town from which he came from.

So sorry for your loss. I am so glad to have had the chance to meet Luge, he was an amazing man. With the history he help make, his involvement in the community and, his friendly nature. Once again, sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure of chatting with Luge many times over the years with regards to his first hand experiences with the space program. A true gentleman and pioneer.

It was an honor to get to know Mr Leutjen! We had many conversations....all were a delight!!! I felt connected to him because my father and grandfather worked at McDonnell Douglas too. He really reminded me of my grandfather. I was truly saddened when I saw his obituary. THANKYOU so much for being so warm and friendly to me and I hope my efforts somehow made your life a little better.

Marilynn, you and Luge have made a wonderful difference in my life. Travel, visits, sharing a meal, and so may laughs. His life touched many. Thanks for sharing him with us. We are here for you, you are in my prayers. We love you! God loves you!
