Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Reverend Joyce. Although my background was in medical social work, I was hired for the community outreach ministry @ Wesley-Knox UC. During my tenure, Don was hired as a temporary replacement to Rev. Doug Ross.

I recall Don as a caring and friendly person, with a super sense of humour. One special memory is his visit to our home, during my maternity leave, when our son, Jordan, was born. The fact that he took time from his schedule to...

Both Don and Jo were wonderful friends of the Koczkur family during their time at Westminster United Church. We will always be thankful for Don's gentle and caring manner during my mother's illness and his care of the family afterwards. He was an inspiriation to me in my younger years. I think back to some of his great sermons that continue to have an impact on my life today.
I am saddend that Don has left this world but my heart rejoices that he has gone home to glory!
May God...

As a student at St. Andrew's College about 1950 I served as student assistant to Don Joyce at St. Thomas Wesley Church. I remember his commitment to the congregation and the heavy workload of two services each Sunday. Sincere wishes to the family at this time.

Ray and I are thinking of you and your family at this sad time. I was Don's secretary or as he used to call me his "Executive assistant", the 5 wonderful years he was at Westminster United Church in Windsor. When we visited you both in London and in Vineland, are treasured times that will always be in our hearts.
Our love and deepest sympathy go out to you, Jo as well as your family.

Rev. Joyce was our minister and friend when he served at Westminter United Church in Windsor, Ontario. We remained friends in the years following. Don was a thoughtful and caring person who will be remembered fondly by all our family. Our warmest condolences are with Jo at this time.

As a close friend of Rev. Joyce's son David, I well recall joining them for dinner on occasion as a guest. The home was open, welcoming and witty. I pray that Rev. Joyce and David, who predeceased him, are "upstairs" and indulging in Joyce rejoinders. To the Joyce family, I offer my deep condolences and should any wish to contact me, my e-mail address is [email protected].

To the Joyce Family: I am sorry to learn of Rev. Don's passing. I remember when he was a Pastor at Southminster here in Ottawa and as a neighbour living in The Rideau Gardens (Anenue Road). The discussions were always rewarding. My condolences to the family.
