Dear Family of Mr. Roberts. I missed the obituary in June, and just learned of his passing this past weekend. I began my teaching career in 1969 under Clive's tutilage, and have always considered myself fortunate to have begun under such a "consumate professional" who was also a warm and caring friend. I continued to teach for 31 years at Bonneville, and had the good fortune to see that Clive and his brother got to tour through the building on his last visit there. To illustrate how much he...

Many entries of students and friends that were close to Principle Roberts. But this one comes from a distant but quite respectful student. I spent many times "visiting" with him in his office at Bonneville, but for the wrong reasons. His encouragment and calm "enforcement" kept me going, instead of quiting. So, thanks to him and for this opportunity to give him one last respect, for definately changing my life. And reading his history, I now know why we seemed to "hit it off". I found myself...

Clive was a close friend and associate of my father's, Richard Harper, at Olympus High School, and through that association, became friendly with me and my younger brother Paul as far back as when we were in elementary school, when we spent our Friday afternoons for years at the Olympus High basketball and football games.
