Not sure what to say?

My dearest friend, Mentor, Teacher, Collegue, Christlike Example, and fellow disciple. I am broken hearted that I did not take the time to spend with you in 2007 when I discovered my own cancer and saw you at the Doctor's office.

It is with great sadness that I learn of Hagen's death...as one of my advisors at BYU Depaetment of Art, he challenged me with concepts and steadied me with faith. He held teaching, sharing his experience of Art and creation in high regard as evidenced by his generosity. I read and reread his book many times--once again, a man who profoundly helped me along my course in life and Art:)Katherine L Kerr, Provo ,UT

Such a man as he will always be remembered by the legacy of his talent and the talent perpetuated in his off spring.I am happy to say, "I knew him, and my son was his Son-in-law ".

Thank you for all you've created!! You are incredible!

I will always remember Hagen's gentle but compelling way of teaching. There is too much to say here but it has been one of my life's greatest privileges to be associated with him. Til we meet again...
