Not sure what to say?

I was so very sorry to hear of Jake’s passing. I will always remember his wonderful sense of humor and credit him and your Mom for my first apartment in Worcester and your mom teaching me how to cook pilaf! Hopefully, you girls are keeping up the wonderful traditions he was so fond of. My sincere sympathy for your loss and hope that in time the cherished memories will carry you through.

I worked at Heald Machine and remember Jake fondly. Jakes Obit mentions an ever present cup of coffee but I remember an ever present cigar. . He was a good guy, a decent man, may he Rest In Peace.

Lisa, Susan, and family .... we are so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Jake became part of our immediate family, and our extended family. It was always a pleasure to have him at the Cape, visiting family in Florida, family gatherings or just over for a visit. He was a special man to our Mom, Jeanne Gallagher, and to all her family. We were blessed to have him in our lives.

To the Hagopian Family: So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. My husband and I frequently met Jake for occasional dinners both here and in Florida. I also knew your Mom she was in my class at Commerce and use to see her and Jake at our reunions. May he rest in peace and be alongside of her now.

I had the honor of meeting Jake through my grandmother, Jean Gallagher. Jake was such an incredible friend to her and I am forever grateful for knowing him. Jake was so warm and generous and will be missed by many.

I was saddened to hear of Jake's passing. He was such a presence at HC Football games and I always looked forward to seeing him (especially with his cigar). He was a true "Crusader" and will be missed. My sincerest sympathy to his children and family. Linda George (Ass't. Business Manager of Athletics/Former Ticket Manager)
