Not sure what to say?

My condolences is to the family of Hal Armstrong Jr. So sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort, and mercy be with you at this time of sorrow, and be comforted by His Word. ( 1 Cor.15:26)

I met Hal while working at Saks. My department was small and over the years there at times I was a "department of one" and pretty much all by myself. Hal would check on me frequently, just to say "hi" and see how my day was going. He always had a smile, even after working over the weekend or a long night. He talked about his family, and his grandchildren, and was always looking forward to the weekend to spend time with his family and his projects at home. One of my favorite stores was...

My sincere condolences for the loss of your dear Hal. May you all know that our creator feels your pain. Psalms 72:12&13.

My deepest condolences to the family.
Words alone can never express the sadness we feel in our hearts when we lose a loved one in death. May God's (Psalm 83:18) words at John 6:40 be a comfort to you all in your time of sorrow.

I met Hal when he worked for another company at saks during it's expansion. The first thing he said to me was so funny. I said are you a comedian? No, no thats my other job. Always something. He was quick to pick up someones spirit when he knew they needed a little something extra. Hal was one of a kind and that was the good kind. I enjoyed my friendship with Hal until I left saks. I was shocked to hear of his passing, and want his Wife and family to know he will surely be missed by everyone...

Praying for God's peace for you and your family, Deborah.

My sincerest condolences to the Armstrong Family. May the Hearer of Prayer be of comfort to you at this time. (Psalms 83:18)

As a previous employee of McRae's, Proffitt's and Saks, I worked for many years with Hal and enjoyed every minute of it. He was the kindest person, loyal to his friends and his department- his work family, and I remember him as always being eager to do what is right. He had a real "way with others". He will be greatly missed. Deepest sympathy to all.

He always had a smile and greeting each time I passed him in the hall at Saks.
